Its been a while since I updated my blog on here, primarily because I maintain my blog mostly on Google+ and Facebook and haven't felt much like reposting everything again here. That and latterly I have been busy,
So, whats been going on? Well, after my last post I picked up a couple of bugs from the kids - a cold and a touch of the old norovirus. It was not pleasant, I can tell you. The cold quickly (in a matter of days) turned into a nasty chest infection - I remember one friday night where...
Ever since I stepped foot off that plane I've felt like I could scream and swear at everyone. The minute we touched down in England it was back to the same old crap. Not even been back in England 24 hours to be off to Birmingham with my mum to visit my grandad who is becoming very distressed. My mum is struggling this week and I've noticed an awful change in my dad :( he's getting really sick and tired of all this crap but he knows damn well it's gona get a whole lot worst and there's nothing we...

This was a matter of hours after...

Patty went into the hospital to have her tonsils removed. Subsequently, she was diagnosed with tonsil, throat, neck and lymph node cancer. She is...
Blackmail. Strong word that may upset some people if they read on.There's no sex or swearing in what I hope to write but many may disagree with my views.
I am angry and confused about doctors, nurses and patients. I was brought up to believe that doctors were supposed to be there for patients who felt ill and wanted help. Doctors were trained to know about illness and what treatments were available. No doctor could know it all so there were hospital specialists or consultants. Nurses were there...
I am in remission from melanoma and my husband is in remission from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. We would love to go on a cruise next year but fear it will be too expensive as P & O insist on cover for pre existing conditions. Any advice would be very helpful.
