Hi, i have been diagnosed with Thymoma, possibility type B. I will be having a sternotomy in a few weeks, the cancer is partially encasing the brachiocephalic and cartoid vessels which makes surgery more complex. I'm terrified. Im 42, have teenagers. It's really hard. Just wanted to speak to people who understand. Not sure if this is what this is for. I know this cancer is rare. My surgeon told me after this surgery is done they will then know what other treatment I may need. I feel like my life is on hold and up in the air. I have loving family and friends but they can't know what this feels like, I feel alone some times and numb. I have no symptoms and know I'll be really poorly in order to get better, it's hard to get my head around
