Woke up today and felt fine.  No nausea as yesterday.  Got up and made tea first then breakfast for us both.  Had been up every hour last night, passing huge quantities of fluid.  Found I had lost 2kilos, (4lbs) in the past 24hrs and feel much less bloated.  PU and bowels now no problem.  No need for laxative today and I begin to wonder if I still need tamsulosin to help me PU.  If not, first time in 2 years!

Well, the honeymoon period is over and the side effects have come as you could have told me they would.

Called in by a nurse I knew well.  Drip…

Had my assessment.  All over in half an hour.  Seen by a nurse who greeted me with "hello David".  So reassuring to be recognised.  Soon home again after an easy drive.  But, I had to take a large dose of dexamethasone at breakfast and another at lunch in preparation for tomorrow.  At home my mind took off again and I soon became hungry as well.  Went out for a short walk to the village hall where there is an amateur…
