    Not Again !!
After having my beloved Dads funeral on friday im wondering whats wrong with me as I thought grief was an all consuming feeling. I have been carrying on normally and getting through the days quite well. That may now change as I have just found out that my best friends husband has breast cancer !!!! He is going in on monday to have his breast removed and at the moment they are staging it at zero - which is I suppose good in a way . This now brings back all the feelings of when Dad was diagnosed and...

About to start Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy!!
Hi all I'm about to start Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy and suddenly the day before, having been quite strong and positive thru all diagnosis and ops etc, I am absolutely terrified!! I'm sure that it is 'going into the unknown' and not knowing how I will react to the drugs that is really worrying me. I've spoken to so many people and read so much but everyone seems to be different - I'm just hoping that I will be one of the lucky ones!! Here's hoping. How did you all get on with the first day...

Dad has his CT scan on 17th September, he is feeling nervous...

Although I've been remission for 19months now, the fear of the cancer returning often comes back to bite me on the bum, big time! When it does I think of my nephew Michael and it comforts me so much! He was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and his outlook was not good, 15years old, his parents were devastated! Michael under went an 8 hour operation were the surgeons managed to remove just over 90 percent of the tumor, he then spent weeks in intensive care very very poorly! Chemotheraphy...
