January 25, 2026
Friday January 23rd marked my seven year anniversary, I celebrated with a beer and ……………losing a front tooth…..bugger bugger bugger!!!!!!!!!!!
I have …or I did have … a crown on one of my top front incisors and despite heroic efforts with dental hygiene ( Duraphat, GCMI Paste, Chewing Gum, Never snacking, Endless Toothbrushing, Four Yearly Dentist and Fluoride Varnish….and likely more I haven’t mentioned) my tooth silently and painlessly decayed under the crown then silently and painlessly snapped off at the gum.
Because I have moved from Wales into England I don’t have speedy access to my brilliant team at The Morriston so getting this sorted will take some effort. There is no way I will get my new dentist to deal with this, it’s a dental hospital job.
SIGH
A TIP….. If you have any teeth crowned get your dentist to X-ray it periodically.
SIGH…again!!!!
