    Back home again.

The pain is manageable but not under total control.  Quantities of Meds are quite high but we will just have to see over the next 4 weeks if the Radio does anything to help.

We have been able to get out for short visits to friends that has cheered us both up.

Grip and balance are still not perfect and I am having to watch her every move but things are better than 3 weeks ago.

    Sad Day

Im having a sad day today - I feel incredibly guilty about this as Im only the carer, it is my husband that is dealing with cancer not me!  I could barely get around the supermarket praying that no one spoke to me in case i burst into tears.  I then rushed to my car and then sat and sobbed all the way home. I just dont know whats wrong with me. Sorry folks, I just had to get that out there.

    Dear Dad

    Dear Dad,

Hey,,,, how are you? Just wanted to drop you a quick line because I miss you so much, its a physical pain, I just want to hold you, smell you, laugh with you, Its been 9 months now and it's not getting any easier dad, it seems to be getting worse, your always in my thoughts and I love you so much and miss you terribly.
Think I need to " get down the docs" as you would tell me, and get myself sorted out.

    Night Night Dad

    I love you

    Speak soon

    RCC/Liver secondary/Sutent & MRI????

    Hi

I was rediagnosed with a nodule on my Liver & something on my remaining kidney 2 weeks ago for the 3rd time.......was put on Sutent straight away & told that case would be discussed at next MDT.

Now out of the blue have received a MRI scan appointment & unsure why, Im guessing they either want a closer look at the Liver as there is a problem (although my Onc did say that although it is there it wasnt life threatening) or they are considering if the tumour is operable.

    Really anxious...

    Shawn's birthday.

Today, 24th April, Shawn turned 42. My gorgeous husband is half way through his radiotherapy treatment for an inoperable GBM.

The sun came out for a couple of hours, which isn't that usual for Scotland, but nonetheless, it was a beautiful day. A couple of friends and a BBQ were in order to celebrate Shawn's birthday.

Tomorrow is an early radiotherapy appointment, instead of 10.40 am it's been pushed back to 9.40 am because of the Easter weekend. So, that means no consultant tomorrow, but...
