wittering away

1 minute read time.

I have slept a lot and now at 01.50 I feel like I am up for a while. Waiting for three o clock meds but I don't have the brain fog just now so am going to enjoy that for a bit.

I have been listening to lots of cosy mysteries.

I loved reading, long covid robbed the ability to read a book, I used to gobble them up, I miss it terribly being a book worm has been part of me since I could read. I have always admired peoples ability to write not something I can do. I do enjoy building a setting for a story and chuck some characters in. It's the tangents that do it for me. Today it is  types of knitting, Shetland knitting belts and lever knitting, I find it interesting but wouldn't be looking it up but  some of my characters knit. It keeps me entertained and that's the main thing.Boredom is a real enemy for me.

The settings are historical as I am interested in history. So today perhaps the agricultural depression 1873 -96.

Being unafraid of certain tropes, is the elite rich, land grabbing misogynist  who is threatening tenancies and common lands going to be brought down with a knitting lever or bopped over the head with a  big ceremonial porridge Spurtle?

Were they pushed over the cliff or was it a genuine accident because of the new craze in wellness and eternal youth is taking brisk walks up coastal paths while ' 'laudanum maxxing' or some such...  Was it the wife or something to do with the  industrial knitting data centre  being planned in the local community. All done in a Midsomer Murders style.

Whatever gets me through.

I hope that today is a good day for you.
