Its now finally hit me after 2 years that I am fighting this Cancer. Had a 3rd reoccurence in April this year, went straight onto Sutent after 6 weeks scan showwed shrinkage to mets in Liver & remaining Kidney, so stayed on it a further 3 Months, tough side effects etc.
Scan on Friday after 3 months showed minor disease progression, it really sucks now!

I was rediagnosed with a nodule on my Liver & something on my remaining kidney 2 weeks ago for the 3rd time.......was put on Sutent straight away & told that case would be discussed at next MDT.
Now out of the blue have received a MRI scan appointment & unsure why, Im guessing they either want a closer look at the Liver as there is a problem (although my Onc did say that although it is there it wasnt life…
Devastating news today, cancer is back, 1 met in Liver & more in remaining Kidney, now starting SUTENT :~(
I walked into Oncologists room & before I had even sat down he said "Great scan", the relief was so intense, I told him I was going to kiss him if it was good so he told me to anyway.
I really feel overwhelmed, I know its incurable but if everytime it comes back I can kick its ass then thats what I'll strive to do.

Have appointment at 9:30 tomorrow for results of CT Scan, am petrified that its going to be bad news!, was watching my daughter tonight she is soooo looking forward to Christmas next week & I want it to be so special & I want to fully enjoy it not worrying if only for a while about cancer!
Will I be granted my Christmas wish?......I hope so
