That lesser known Crowded House song.
Today has been a bit of a long day. I've seen the radiology band (there were 5 of them), the oncologist and the GP.
The GP was seen last and honestly I want harm to come to one of us after my most recent chat with him. How does a man who claims to be so caring get off with being such a condescending moron?! I probably need to explain a little but essentially he's been seeing me regularly for over a year because left unmedicated I'm a little unpredictable...
I ought to be asleep but apparently my brain thought better of that and decided lying awake thinking about the lymph nodes in my neck was infinitely more interesting. Radiotherapy starts in just under 6 hours so I ought to get some sleep but it's looking doubtful. People can survive, albeit in a really crazy hallucinating way without sleep for a fair while so I think I'm safe.
I'm hoping the lymph nodes in my neck haven't decided to get bigger because of the lymphoma and rather I've got...
Last blog entry: "what is remission?" So I'd better update.
Saw my onco today. PSA back up to 9.4, lowest 2.9 in April. Abiraterone running out of steam. Offered RT for pain in what the Transatlantics call the Butt. Onco says there was activity in the bone scan there, months ago and so he'll put me back in the microwave to see if that will help. Chemo is getting a little closer but he says he will review me after the RT and in a month's time as usual. He answered my question...
My heart aches like nothing else before,

I was there for him, every step of the way, right by his side. Right to his very last breath.
I found a lump at the beginning of May after I had some pain on the side of my left breast. I booked to see the doctor and she referred me but was pretty sure it was just a cyst (so was I). My appointment day arrived and saw a lovely Chinese doctor who asked me what changes I had noticed. I'm 40 now so things are heading south so I tried to explain this that my right breast - being right handed - was always perkier than the left but roles have now reversed, she didn't really understand until I took...
I am very Interested In medieval England and have traced my ancestry back 850yr's to a man known as sir Saluayne. he was a Templar knight. If cancer had human form I believe he would have addressed It thus,
MY FRIEND'S WE HAVE BEEN INVADED BY AN ENEMY THAT TAKE'S NO PRISONER'S SO THEREFORE WILL SHOW US LITTLE MERCY. WE WHO SUFFER IT MUST BE THE SAME. WE MUST FIGHT WITH ALL OUR STRENGTH AND USE WHATEVER MEAN'S WE HAVE. SOMETIME'S DURING THIS BATTLE WE WILL SUFFER SETBACK'S AND INDIGNITIES. THIS...
