gbm4 dad had a fall

Less than one minute read time.

Hi everyone so I haven't been here for a wee while. Dad had his mri and it came back that the tumor has grown only 5 mm though so not super fast. However we are noticing a lot of confusion and he had a fall the other day trying to get into his chair he said he didn't think it was a seizure he just felt faint. He is also on morphine now as paracetamol no longer works to rid the headaches. They are putting his steroids up to 4mg now. It's so sad watching him walk around with his sick bowl it's like a constant companion now. I really struggle with all this its like your just getting comfortable with one thing and a bigger thing happens.

Hope every one is coping ok.

    Hi Hannah,

Hope you don't mind me commenting on your blog. Sorry to hear your Dad's symptoms are progressing, it's the toughest thing watching someone you love so much deteriorate in such a way. From reading your posts and blogs you sound like a very caring and supportive daughter so I'm sure your Dad is drawing a lot of comfort and strength from you and your family. I hope you all got to spend some quality time together for Father's Day today.

If you do ever want to talk feel free to message me.

    Take care.

    Leah
