Im going to feel so lost when he goes. Its my little boys birthday on Friday and I pray to god it doesnt happen then. My little boy said he would be very sad if it happened then. One of my friends who is spiritual said she can see people who have passed in his room. Dont know enough about it but you have to believe...

I feel so so fed up this evening.

My husband has been saying all day that I have been cruising for a fight and I of course have said that I have not! Well, looking back on today I guess I must have been sub consciously and now we have had an argument and he has gone to bed at 7pm and I have just spent 30 mins sobbing!.Arghhh

I am so fed up with cancer. I don't want to have it any more. I want to be like everyone else I have seen today, happy and looking forward to Christmas without the worry of...

    Another blow!!

Just spoken to my sister on the phone and it's looking like she may have cervical cancer!!! When will the blows end?!!

Meanwhile my mum is doing fine and starts her chemo next week. She will be having 5 FU which I'm told is not such an aggressive treatment. Unfortunately it has been overshadowed by my sisters bad news!!

    Secondary eye cancer (lung cancer)

    Hello

A bit of an update.  I have been spending a lot of time with my Dad which has been great and am soooo glad my sister and I have this precious time with him.  The cancer has now spread to his eye; I spoke to MacMillan today and his nurse is going to call me on Monday as she is off until then.  I was wondering if anyone has any experience/kmowledge on secondary eye cancer that has spread from the lungs.  We noticed his eye looked funny back in November and we are waiting for him to have palliative...

    Radiotherapy

Went for MRI Monday morning. Was struggling to get there as shoulder and neck were killing me and even the oramorph wasn’t helping. Anyway got a pretty thorough scan of my spine.

Went to Clinic yesterday (Wed) and was struggling again and had to ask for somewhere to lie down as that is the only way to get rid of the pain.

Saw my oncologist who said that there are 2 trapped nerves (between vertebrae) at the top of my spine and that they were planning radiotherapy and also thinking about it for...

    The unknown

    Hi guys,

Mum has put up a good fight for over three years now, we've battled on and kept her strong as a family but yesterday recieved a devastating blow that I'm not sure how to deal with. At 21 I'm trying to come to terms that I may not have my mum around for much longer...her chemo hasn't worked again and the cancer has spread. There are limited options left now. I have no idea how to feel or what to do. The thought that this could be my last Christmas with her terrifies me. I'm struggling to...

    Phone Calls

Had a good I think. Mainly just phone calls from hospitals, but good to keep the ball rolling.

Have been told that they've ordered a PET scan for me, so it's just a matter of a 2 week wait. I have a CT scan planned for Wednesday next week. Have no idea how much that will change my life. Hrmm...

The surgeon who removed my swollen lymph node called me today. That was nice. She was very reassuring and told me not to read the doom and gloom on the medical sites regarding stages and stats.
