Just spoken to my sister on the phone and it's looking like she may have cervical cancer!!! When will the blows end?!!

Meanwhile my mum is doing fine and starts her chemo next week. She will be having 5 FU which I'm told is not such an aggressive treatment. Unfortunately it has been overshadowed by my sisters bad news!!

I too am sorry to hear your bad news. I wish you strength to get you through this.

I was on 5FU and it wasn't that bad at all.

Hi Brian,

I am glad that your mum is doing well and I am really sorry to hear about your sister. There is a webite called Jo's Trust which you and your sister may find a great support. There are ladies on there that have had abnormal smear results and are receiving treatment to people diagnosed with cervical cancer and others who are in remission. It is a fantastic and positive forum.

I hope your sister has not got it.
