Today seen a Haematologist & Diagnosed wiv Lymphoma!!! Told me "if your gonna have Blood Cancer..best one to have" For Gods Sake!!! Gimme a rest....
I'm currently in hospital recovering from surgery to remove a sarcoma and plug the hole it came from. I should be feeling happy as I've been told I should be able to go home on Saturday but I feel anxious and very homesick. I've also been told I have my first Oncology Appointment at st James tomorrow. I have no idea what to expect not sure I'm able to face up to the fact I have cancer!
3 1/2 weeks of being wrapped, packed and stacked, the ticks in the boxes and the numbers added to the statistics folder, time for a sit down and a cuppa tea ..... wrong.
Appointments with medical and radiation oncology turned up a treatment regime, easy they said, we will poison and irradiate you at the same time, that should kill the freeloader, or at least give it a bad headache.

Hi all, just finished my 5 week chemo and radiotherapy now awaiting operation to remove tumour, the last couple of weeks I've suffered with constipation going to the loo all the time and straining, but hardly anything coming out. Feeling very uncomfortable, just wondered how long it normally takes to feel normal again.

I’ve just finished my last Folfox. Everything seems to have gone ok so far.
No problems with my PICC line which made the Oxaliplatin infusion much easier. The 5FU pump worked fine and was replaced on schedule on Sunday afternoon.
However, I am so tired!!

Yes, I found one of those lumps you don't want to find at the top of my left breast. Deep down I wanted to ignore it, but didn't, as I had always told myself 'if I ever find a lump, I will get it checked straight away' and not ignore it like my mum had with hers.
