    New phase of bereavement

Recently I discovered that a work associate of my late husband, Simon, took an advantage of the condition of Simon's brain tumour and made a nice profit out of it. I suspected something like this was happenning at the time, but as Simon's brain tumour was in his left temporal lobe where communication and memory was controlled, Simon could not remember the details of the business agreement (crucial part being just verbal according to the other party) I could not prove my suspicion.

    Happy now

Well I have finally made peace with my mum. Mum called me tonight and we talked for over an hour  We chatted about how I am feeling, about my treatment. Mum likes to tell jokes so we laughed together. I asked her to come with me on 4th for my third treatment and she said she would. I can go to bed happy tonight, not feeling sad not feeling guilty. Tomorrow is another day and one I am looking forward to. Night night every body I hope you sleep well. Love Julie XX

    The story so far ...3

Brilliant news!  Dad had appointment with consultant today - although during surgery the lymph nodes looked cancerous, it turns out they were all fine!  Cancer was just confined to bladder and prostate.  I could have cried.  This is the best news we could have hoped for.  Dad will still have to have a further operation to remove his urethra.  During the main surgery they decided against removing the urethra, as the lymph nodes looked so bad the surgeon thought the cancer had already spread.

    Mum had her...

My Danny died early this morning.  He hung on as long as he could and fought so hard to stay with me.  I am lost without him.

    Thankyou

A BIG thankyou to all who answered my blog Guilty.

It is true there is alot of love on this site and I definitely feel it this past 24 hours.

I haven't yet spoken to my mum, members of my family were present and witnessed the argument, I spent last night on my own, no-one rang me to see how I was, my distress and heartache obviously went unnoticed by my sisters. I still feel guilty about the incident but it is not an isolated case I have spent my life feeling guilty about my mum.
