    Thank you everyone

Thank you Julie, Carol and Terri for your comments.  It is the first time I have written anything on this site and I wasn't actually expecting any comments, I just wanted to write something as i sat with Sam whilst he slept. Your comments helped me and made me cry, which is no bad thing as I know I bottle it all up.

Sam is sleeping again, he slept from half 4 til 10 tonight and now since midnight so I guess it will be in the very early hours that I get to bed after he has woken again and is...

    Another kick in the teeth!

This morning our son in law rang, offering Peter a fantastic FREE trip to Germany, visiting a racing car workshop.  Staying the night then the following morning driving on a race track with one of their cars.  This to him, is the best thing that has happened since his diagnosis last year.  He has been walking around like a Cheshire cat.

We had let our passports lapse but that was not a problem.  Phoned the Passport people and they told us how to get one within the next 2 weeks.  Problem solved.  Arranged...

    Support at home

after a two day hospital admission they managed to get my daughter's sickness under control with a pump then she got some good nights sleep and felt better enough to ask for the pump to be removed. Not such a good day today and suddenly all the fears come back. Fantastic to have a gp visit at 30 minutes notice - never had that before, and the nurses have been great. Have to find a way to get this PLX 4032 - our only hope.

    on your 5 month anniversary

    To my dear mum,

5 long months have passed now... though the tears keep flowing, I found a poem you wrote down that  I know you kept near to you...

    May You Always Have…
    Adventures to enrich your soul
    Courage to be yourself
    Dreams that come true
HEALTH to live life to the fullest
    Joy to colour your thoughts
    Opportunities to grow
    Values to guide you
    Memories to keep you warm,
    Family, Friends & Faith

These words I know gave you comfort, and I too will try find the same...
