Brilliant news! Dad had appointment with consultant today - although during surgery the lymph nodes looked cancerous, it turns out they were all fine! Cancer was just confined to bladder and prostate. I could have cried. This is the best news we could have hoped for. Dad will still have to have a further operation to remove his urethra. Mum went to the consultant today - brilliant news! He doesn't think the cancer is back. She will have to have a colonoscopy just to check out some inflammation, but he was sure it was not cancer. Yippee!!!!
Dad is getting better day by day. Next appointment end of the month. Fingers crossed. xx
