Hello everyone,
Firstly i would like to apologise to you all, i haven't been on here much and i now feel guilty as you were all here to support me when i needed it and then i disappear and don't do the same for you all, so please guys accept my apologies.

Great question.......I kind of feel as if i have gone from denial to acceptance without all of the other stages of grief in-between. I carry on as normal going through the motions ignoring the fact that i am 'supposed...
Hi all,
Well we in Kent have joined the rest of the country under a blanket of snow. I had my second chemo of cycle 5 yesterday and my lovely friend who drives me and my husband to all the appointments was determined I would get to the hospital in Maidstone. It took 35 minutes to get to the end of the next road from our house but we persevered and arrived only 15 minutes late. My treatment was started almost straight away (no low neutrophils this week thank goodness) and it all went very smoothly...
hello all my lovely mac family its been a while since my last blog and i thougtht it was time to come and check in...last time i spoke to you i was about to start my clinical trails....i nwas then turned down for my clinical trials as i was not well enough to go throgh with it...which upset me dearly...as that was my last hope really...but im feeling quite well in myself and im trying to keep my self active even with this rubbish weather....ive gone back to work as i feel i need some kind of normality...
Just joined this online blog thing!!! I don't really know what i'm doing.
My husband was diagnosed with the Syndrome about 4 years ago. Things have been ticking along fine....3 months ago we were told it may be in his lungs now (he already has it in his gut and liver). A visit to the local A/E confirmed this....we were also told he has a big tumour on his Aeorta.
For some reason this has hit me very hard....I am terrified and want to run away. I can't cope with feeling what I'm feeling...
Hi all,
Well I 've got my CT scan appointement for next Tuesday, and I'm told the appointment for my oncologist for Friday 10th is on the way, so will they do anything before Christmas?
I'm trying to keep myself as busy as I can, out for lunch tomorrow (today's got cancelled!) then a christmas concert in the evening, reflexology tomorrow morning and friend to lunch, and we are away in our motorhome with Locovan this weekend, back for Tuesday for my scan, up to see our Grandaughters...
steve went to chrstie this morning to have drain put in tummy, but his blood is too thin, so he was admitted, in for few days has been giving meds to thicken his blood before they try the drain again, they will do a scan of the tummy as they seem to think the cancer has spread, when will it all end? so we can spend quality time together before he is too sick

Well, I'm not sure how to write personally yet but, to everyone who replied to my last blog 'Can anyone help please?!!!' I would like to say a huge thank you for all your reassurances. I know I will have more moments when I get worried about something and it's good to know that there are people out there who can help. We may be strangers and distant in familiarisation but, we're not so estranged and unfamiliar in under one main title......we're all human beings in a time of need. ...
Feeling very tearful today, my bestest auntie has gone in for op on bowel. She was wonderful when i was recovering from my mastectomy, coming all the way from Worcester, down to Cornwall to look after me. We have always been very close, more like sisters than neice and aunt.
Thank goodness our school is closed today due to snow and ice, explaining to five year olds why you have water on your face is tricky!
Sending her all our love and best wishes for a speedy recovery!
