    Melanoma of the Neck
Back in December 08 i found a lump in my neck. I went to doctors and he examained me as I initially thought it was mumps. (I wish it was now) Gave me a week of penicillin as they thought it was an infection in my lymph nodes. After a week of tablets it had not gone down any, so they referred me for a biopsy. I went on the 30th December and in January I got my results to say there were malignent cells from the biopsy. They gave me a choice of three but after an MRI scan they opted for Salivary...

    Feeling sad
Third round of chemo is over and last night was rough...woke up with a headache and feeling quite alot of nausea...awful. I took meds and feel better now. My breathing is pretty good, kinda. Had my weekly thoracentesis. They hurt. Honey isn't coping very well and I am seeing things more clearly these days that I haven't been wanting to see before. And I am sad about it. How Quick?
My sister called today to tell me that the district nurse had been to visit mum today and she had called the doctor out due to the pain. The doctor then wanted to put mum on a drip. My dad refused as mum has a hospital appointment tomorrow. Apprently mum has not been very lucid today and she is very confused. I am worried as tomorrow I am taking her to the chemo clinic for a visit as she is due to start chemo, this is to prolong the enevitable not to cure. The tumor is 4 half inches in the...
