A perfect 20 minutes. Got out to the bench in the back garden, with a coffee.Teak the cat was outside sleeping. He got up and came to me, wanting to be petted.
So we sat on the bench together. It was wonderful being outside. I saw the birds eating their berries and flitting around.
Teak was watching birds too but wishing he was at least 10 years younger when a Robin was particularly inquisitive. I clapped at the Robin just in case.
A male blackbird was trying to woo a female, she was having none of it.
I came in, ate a tiny meal and then fell asleep for a couple of hours. Woke up happy.
