A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with T2 Squamous Cell Carcinoma, or Mouth Cancer as its more commonly known – specifically on the left side of my tongue.
The choice method of saving my life and removing the tumour is to perform a radical neck dissection to remove my lymph nodes in the left side of my neck. Along with this I will be having a partial glossectomy (The removal of about half my visible tongue) and have a stoma fitted so I can breathe whilst my throat etc heals.

It has been 3 weeks since I have had an operation - hysterectomy and appendix removal and biopsy of the omentum. This was following the removal of an ovarian cyst that was removed and tested - the reaults were borderline. I am waiting for the biopsy results to see if the cyst has affected my stomach or not . It is hell. I want the results now but I am also terrified of what they might say - I still do not think I have fully accepted what has already taken place. It seems like my brain cannot process...

hi my ex partner has pleural effusion cancer contained in fluid not mets hes 45 never smoked drank will be having op to drain fluid then chemo and rad prog 2 month to 2 year can you tell me if he has longer he has kids 6 and 4 please help thanks x

still dont know how i'm feeling,dont know how i'm s'posed to feel after being told i possibly have a small breast cancer,which will be confirmed friday.do i go to work or not? will i hold it together at work?my thinking is the nice doctor wouldnt of said i have a small cancer if she hadnt been sure,i'm scared then i feel ok and then i down again
Well it’s nearly Monday 5th November when I have my scan,
and I have managed to largely forget about cancer for the last 12 weeks as they
left me without any treatment (which I was pleased about).
Recurrent cancer in my pelvis feb 2012 chemo booked twice but
cancelled as I managed to get surgery to remove this in June. Scan August
showing lung mets 6 tiny ones and two others, left me 6 weeks to see if these
little ones are growing, next scan showed 2 larger ones had grown so this is
definitely cancer...
