I had a mastectomy on my left side and 19 lymph nodes removed, 1£5of which were positive for cancer. IV had a bit of pain under my left arm which I was expecting but today whilst mosturising IV came across a lump about the size of a pea half way down my inner upper arm. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue after lymph removal ?
On 10th November I went to my GP. She examined my breasts and wasn't happy with the skin texture which she referred to as tethering. Saturday 21st January.
Today has been a pleasant day, we met a friend at the beach and then walked along the coast path with the dogs high above the sea looking down and along the cliffs and beaches, it was glorious. We had a lovely pub lunch. The two hour walk was easy, it was very hilly at one point. It was reassuring that I managed the walk just as well as I did before I was diagnosed with cancer. We did it we went away for 5 days to Wales in the wilds by the sea when I say the sea we just walked out the back door and there it was to say the view was unbelievable is a understatement
The Holiday was a totally unexpected one.....Hubs was a Chauffeur before he took time off to look after Me! I was left unable to use my left side after an operation to my heart.... I'm fine now meds and determination to walk and use my left side again with Hubs massive amounts of help

Well I'm home after ten days away at my daughters, I am missing my grandson so, so much but I feel very happy that he's settled and my daughter is coping really well and enjoying being a mum. She needed me there at that time and I got there, even with all this madness going on I was there and I enjoyed every single second.

I had a meeting with my colorectal surgeon on Tuesday. Good and bad news (as always). My chemotherapy, a combination of Folfox and Cetuximab, has had excellent results on the tumours in my liver but have not been as beneficial on the tumours in my bowel. They have shrunk but not to the same extent.

Never checked my breasts regularly but as I had gained a few pounds decided to look at myself in mirror in just my underwear .
