    Why can't life be fair?

Why does life have to be so unfair? Why do the good people have to die? If people treated each other fairly, there wouldn't be any wars, would there? Why do parents die and leave us with no one?

If life was fair, no one would die before their time! no one would become sick with cancer!.

    Life just isn't fair!!!

Sorry I am quite angry today, 9 weeks since dad has gone and now a friend has died aged 33 after her heart gave way (no further explanations yet) while her 9 year old son was on...

  • Dad, cancer and me
    OMG!

Just when I was coming to terms with Dad's situation I get the news that my birth mother's cancer has come back, (hopefully caught it early).

    BUT I MEAN, seriously,

How much is 1 person seriously expected 2 deal with b4 they go under?  Even elastic bands can only stretch so far b4 they snap.

    ARRGGGHHHH!!!!!

The Widow Vibe: And the question of mourning clothes …

Just over thirteen weeks, and I wish I could bring you some cheer.  Not yet, I am afraid.
    How am I feeling?
It feels like I have been carrying around with me, scrabbling in the pit of my stomach, some wild, hungry creature that threatens, all the time, to tear through, emitting a scream which is beyond language and reason.  It is a demanding and unpredictable creature, this thing that is my grief.

Oh, I am so very good at whipping it into heel, this creature (which is more than can...

    Waiting 2

My mum is still with us.  She is fighting on, although is getting more pain as her organs shut down.  She is sedated and is being given painkillers through a syringe.  We take it in turns to keep a watch over mum and this morning, I woke up at 5.30am due to all the commotion in the house.  She was in a lot of pain and we called out the nurses, who upped her meds.  We thought she was going to leave us this morning, but she is still here with her.  Even though she cannot respond, I am glad that she can still...

    What a day

I have been to the hospital today for the results of the biopsy.

Not good it is cancer in the lymph node, but they cannot find a link to the cancer in my right lung(not quite sure if thats the way they worded it)

They have decided that the best form of treatment will be chemotherapy but are not to sure at present what type of chemotherapy it will be I have to go back next Friday and they will tell me.

I am to have the first chemotherapy treatment on the 23rd September

I am quite lucky in some...

my cousin did a stupid thing

I feel numb mostly the last few days but i am still feeling angry with my cousin.

Last week she was dumped by her boyfriend of just over a year who she had just moved in with this summer. I appreciate that that must feel shit. However she had the nerve to compare her feelings with what i am going through!!!

To make it worse she then proceeded to OD and put herself in hospital, just because some stupid bloke who clearly didn't really love her ended the relationship!! And she said to me 'I just didn...

    a year without my dad

Well thats a year today my dad passed away. I have been all over the place today snapping at people then crying and laughing. it has been a tough one but i got through it. We got chinese lanterns and lit them for my dad it was so nice. when the light faded my girl said that my dad got the message. It felt good i know that sounds stupid but it has made me feel a bit better. i have a smile on my face tonight and the kids are happy which my dad would have loved.

    no wife cards

Today has been a strange day. I have not cried much though I have got to the edge of it more times than I can count, the lump in the throat and the welling in the eyes but then it stopped, I don't know why.

I went to the supermarket and I thought that I could cope with buying my sister a birthday card, it is her birthday next week. so I went to the card isle and looked for sister cards. But the unexpected feelings came because sister cards are next to wife cards! It occured to me that I will...
