To be honest a shadow could mean anything,until you have had all your tests and scans done then they might be able to make a diagnosis. But dont start worrying until you get the results..All the Best.

i once got told after an xray there was a slight shadow on my lung but they said it was down to some virus i had had in the past..

that was some years ago and its not been mentioned since so it cant have been anything bad..

as sarsfield says its hard for us to know but you will get your results soon and try not to think the worst.....

Like Graeme, I too had a shadow on my lung which turned out to be scaring from a past infection, so don't go jumping the gun just yet. I hope all results are good for you. Take care...love Carol x

I had to go to hospital while having chemo as I was feeling very unwell. It turned out I was neutropenic, but while having x-rays and stuff it was discovered I had a shadow in my lung, which, obviously I was very concerened about, but like Graeme and Carol, I was told by the docs it was probably down to a previous infection. That was 6 years ago and all has been well.

I hope yours turns out to be fine too.
