I really want to pour my heart out on this one as i have had an awful couple of days but at the same time i know that is not fair on anyone who wants to look at this i just feel i need to write it down as it might make more sense.
All i can say is that last night i feel like i had an emotional melt down and i am not really sure where it came from but i know one thing i never want to be like that again. My poor hubbie wasat the receiving end of it and he had done nothing wrong. It has been a few...
Paul visited Mo today later than expected 3.45 he turned up,luckily I didn't have anything that needed to be done ,considering. The general idea was,I thought, for Paul to come up at the weekend to see his mum, obviously, and allow me time to pop out & do 'things'while he was here. Ewa wasn't starting work until 3pm so I guess he just wanted to spend some time with her,I didn't have a problem with that all. However,it transpired later Paul was trying to install a new printer at the hotel Ewa manages...
Charlotte,Mo's carer came in today I was expecting her at 1pm she turned up at 1.30. Unfortunately I had rang the A1 Carers office to find out where she was because I thought she was late, just got off the the phone & she turned up. Apparently according to Charlottes visiting list Mo was booked in for a visit at 1.30pm and not 1pm as I thought. I apologised to her for possibly dropping her in it because I had rang the office. Anyway I just let Charlotte get on with what she was here for. I did ask...
Morning!
Well, yesterday all I did was drive to drop off my middle free-range-teen at the train station, and then pick her up again later. My youngest was picked up for ballet and taken to the milkshake bar thingy then back to her friend's, and my eldest was at her b/f's, so I practised what I have been preaching, and SAT ON THE SOFA ALL DAY *looks proud*
I watched Discovery channel - Animal Cops rescue and Monkey Life Sanctuary LOL! and bid for some shoes on ebay. Bliss ;) I only got twitchy...
Its actually 10 weeks 2 days 1 hour and 6mins since we said goodbye and most of my life is in some sort of order. The house is clear of her personal posessions and her ashes lie in the garden. I have no photos on show as I prefer the memories I hold and I live in the house that was lovingly put together by her.
The tears dried up some time ago, I'm off the anti-depressants, I am fitter than I have been for a long time. Next week I am taking .5Kg of ashes to her favorite spot in Italy and that...
Since before having the Stoma Op mum was just trialling the fentynal patches, they worked for a while but mum has really thin dry skin caused by all the prednistilone steroids she has had to take over the years, she only bumps herself and she bleeds bless her, so eventually they stopped sticking to her and have found they are not strong enough (went from 16 - 56 in about a month. So over the passed two weeks they have changed her patches. (I haven't been there have been on time out to see fiance...
This week seems to have been one of being lost and walking corridors of the hospital in an attempt to find different departments. The staff have been amazing - radioactive isotopes were injected into my husband before a special x-ray to check out his kidneys and heart, some of which was to ascertain what level of chemo he could tolerate. The good news (!!!) is that it looks like he has a high tolerance level and his organs are in good order.
Then to the day assessment unit as on Monday next week...
We will have the results by the end of week
I will write to you
Could you ring - give mob phone number - as we are worried
Friday - no phone call - no results.
Ring hospital - oh you need this department I'll put you through - no answer - of course it's Friday afternoon no one is there!!!
Mind goes into what if ... overdrive.......
Saw GP this morning - they don't have results and nothing has come in the mail so i guess I have to wait.
Have pre op on Monday - hope they know by...
My dad has secondary bone cancer- which his GP thought was a torn muscle rather than the pathological hip fracture it turned out to be.The pain prevented him sleeping, and he began to lose his mind. He was hospitalised in August as he had tried to drive to my sister's house at 6:63 am but couldn't remember how to drive and had locked himself out of the house. Now he thinks he is a cyborg and my sister is a fly, another patient is a carrot and he is alternately agitated and depressed. The ward doctor...
