i had my post op and end of chemo CT scan on 3rd Jan but my appointment to see my oncologist isn't until 25th February. If anything sinister had shown up would the hospital have rang or asked to see me sooner???? am i right in thinking that my results will therefore be good news? i am getting more worried the close i get to my appointment date.

My husband went to the hospital today for a check up as he had started his new (fifth) chemo ten days ago. In the meantime he had got an excrutiating pain in his groin, had an ultrasound and this was reported back to the Prof.
It appears it is a hernia, maybe caused by the abdominal tumour growing and pushing against internal organs. Hubby needs an immediate operation. He is self-employed and argued about finishing his job which ends on 2 March, but the Prof advised against this, as the bowel or...

I am new on here and am hoping that by talking to others i may be able to get some help. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of october, I then went on to have a masectomy in the middle of december. I was very lucky to have an immediate reconstruction using my own tummy. Unfortunately this means alot longer recovery time as i have two areas that need time to heal. It has been a complicated recovery so far, A few weeks ago both wound sites got infected and both wound sites...
Little update of what happened, even though i still dont know details.
Lots of concern in me as first big batch of cancer n chemo i coped fine with, this second lot has taken my year away.
In Dec they wanted to give me 5fu for the secondary sore breast that turned up after bowel shrunk. So couldnt get my stoma reversal or away from chemo but didnt want the full breast cancer loose hair chemo i wanted to go back on the 5fu that helped kicked the original tumour stuff. So 8wks of chemo got organised...
Yesterday was the day we found out if Dad could have chemo.
