    Sitting in an armchair with tthe notebook on my lap.. About every 4 to five minutes I get a butterlfy feeling in my stomach and across my shoulders, followed by a tingling in both legs and my arms. 

     

    Any one have aNY ides/

     

    i SEE THE CONSULTANT ON 18TH  which  FOLLOWS A MRI scan on 6th July

    I have just finished my first round of PCV Chemo.  Now on a 32 dayr est period before the next round.

    I have found that I have had no effects from taking the tablets, even the tiredness was less..

  • MRI scan results

    We were given the results of the MRI scan today. Not the news we wanted as the tumour isstill showing signs of new growth and there are signs of another one behind  it.
    They are stopping the type of chemo I have been taking (Themodal tablets) and at the end of April start on a 6 month course of PCV chemotherapy. ( I need to do more research to find out about this.  I have been given the MM Information Sheet by…
  • Chemo over Easter

    Just coming to the end of a 23 day "rest period" and start back on chemo tablets on Good Friday - so I will be asleep for most of Easter. I will have a mri scan this Thursday to see how things are going.  Looking forwards to hearing the result - which hopefully will be positive.  If not, I will just have to deal with it.  You can be a control freak,  but there are things you can not control.

    68 year old maleGBM4, right temporal lesion.

    I am just coming to the end of the first of the follow on chemo treatments, ie 5 days tablets, 25 days off. I collect the next round of tablets on Thursday and also having the first MRI scan to see how things are going on inside my head.

    The one affect of the chemo and radiology that had not been mentioned anywhere was the generation of gas in my stomach. This cause extensive…
