We were given the results of the MRI scan today. Not the news we wanted as the tumour isstill showing signs of new growth and there are signs of another one behind it.

They are stopping the type of chemo I have been taking (Themodal tablets) and at the end of April start on a 6 month course of PCV chemotherapy. ( I need to do more research to find out about this. I have been given the MM Information Sheet by the Hospital.), This starts with with a visit to the hospital for an infusion and a dose of capsules and then will have 10 days of capsules to take at home dailyy. I then have a rest period of 32 days. This completes the first cycle (42 days, 6 weeks) which is then repeated . A further scan will be carried out and the results compared.

As they have always said, they can not cure the cancer, as it is an aggressive type, but can manage it.

More to come when the new regime starts.

Our granddaughter is now 5 months old and developing fast. Much more important than something in my head while I try to beat it and watch her grow up.
