How long has he had this Cancer?
My Husband started with bad earache 2 years ago, and was back and forwards to see our Gp he ended up getting his ears syringed, which made no difference. He was then referred to Hospital in Sept 2007 for a biopsy which came back clear. In April 2009 he decided to go to his dentist for a check-up to see if it had anything to do with his teeth. The dentist referred him to MFU and as soon as they checked him over they said it was something very serious and were going to do another Biopsy this time...

    Treatment Finished
Been a while since come on here for various reasons. One was work and the other was could not be arsed. Its been a strange couple of weeks, both emotionally and physically. I have been struggling to eat so have lost 2st and 5lb in 4 weeks and as a consequence on 21st April I collapsed at home. I went very dizzy, shaking and collapsed and banged my head on wall. Came round very quickly but shook me up. I was then under house arrest and didnt go to work all week. On Wednesday 23rd I went for my...

    Dad is unconscious
On Monday morning I found Dad unconscious on his bed and in a bad way. Its a scene I will never forget. I called for an ambulance and we rushed him to hospital with the whole flashing lights and sirens going. He was in Resusitation for an hour before anyone would tell me what was going on. They believe he suffered a fall, either before or during a Ischemic Stroke. I did not see him over the weekend and boy do I feel bad about that. The last person to see him walking about was the Ocupational...

My hair is falling out in handfalls now which is veryupsetting, have got a wig and a couple of scalfs so am trying to get my head around this at the moment. My 2nd grandchild is due in 10 days time so am hoping...

    Operation PLUM extraction
OK - First blog Tomorrow afternoon at around 2pm. 29th April 2009. I will be having surgery to remove a cantankerous testicle. And I plan on being completely 'out of it' when it takes place. I've become quite attached to both of my balls, as ugly as the scrotum is, I do think of it as the ultimate 'Man Bag'. Unfortunately one of 'em has gotta go. I havent been given any indication of how far advanced a stage of Cancer it is I have. I feel reasonabley healthy enough despite a few bad nights with...
