How long has he had this Cancer?

Less than one minute read time.
My Husband started with bad earache 2 years ago, and was back and forwards to see our Gp he ended up getting his ears syringed, which made no difference. He was then referred to Hospital in Sept 2007 for a biopsy which came back clear. In April 2009 he decided to go to his dentist for a check-up to see if it had anything to do with his teeth. The dentist referred him to MFU and as soon as they checked him over they said it was something very serious and were going to do another Biopsy this time the results that came back were devastating he has inoperable stage 4 Cancer in his tongue lymnodes and tonsil. How long has he had it and wny did it not show up on first biopsy?

be treated for the cancer that's causing him the pain. That's what I told myself when I was diagnosed 2.5 years in delay.

I know you both are angry, because you two did all the right things, but the docs didn't find the root of the problem.

Maybe it's true what they say, God works in mysterious ways. And maybe something good will come out of this.

Sorry to hear this news but hope that they can offer some sort of treatment.  Myself and the people on this site will offer as much support as they we.  Good luck to you both. x

    Hi Duffy

So sory to hear of your husband's news,  you must be reeling from this diagnosis.  Who knows why this is never picked  when you initially know something is wrong. It is a crying shame this happens.

My stepbrother had severe backache for  over two years before he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and my sister has  been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer, in her uterus and liver 9 years after initialy being diagnosed, and was told at every check up that she was clear.

Just want you to know my thoughts are with you and yoiur husband and family as you try and come to terms with this.
