    August holidays

So we have been fairly busy over the last few weeks.

We have had a trip to Diggerland, Monkeyworld and have had a Day out with Thomas at the Watercress Line Steam railway.
David enjoyed watching the children enjoying themselves, and even managed to partake in as much as possible and enjoy the days out too.

We have just 2 weeks left, the kids are starting to get on my nerves now that the trips out are starting to reduce so that I can get things organised to go back to school. Why oh why can't they...

    Hi my lovely British mates...!
Still here, still having a lovely time, still wishing you were here....
This getting what you want lark always seems to be tinged with sadness somehow.... I got what I wanted which was please just one more time here with my family and the most beautiful countryside in the world (in my eyes) and I am relishing every tiny little bit of it but then that phrase ‘just one more time’ comes in and I get that sadness that this is all too perfect and beautiful and...

Well firstly hello to all out there that take the time to read this.

Got to say in the past 2 weeks I have been spending alot of time looking at things on the internet in the hope of finding information and answers - what have I learned well firstly there is alot out there, it doesn't often reassure you, but knowledge is power. • Life after my loss
    Day 29

Well today has been spent packing to go away to give my daughter a bit of time with me and my son a bit of time to do normal 17yr old things, thankfully he is a sensible lad whom has given me so much love and support over the past weeks but I know he needs a bit of time for his own emotions. My daughter 11yrs is struggling with the loss so some time to sit on the beach sand in the sandwiches will help us both talk about her feelings in neutral grounds.

Although I know going away for the weekend...

    Moving Forward

    Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well.  I feel bad that I haven't had time to post on here much recently, and part of me also feels bad that so many of you supported me last year when my Mum died, but that I haven't been around much to reciprocate lately.

It's nearly a year since my Mum died and lately I have been feeling very sad about it.  On July 24th, it would have been her 65th birthday.  We went out as a family and we had dinner to celebrate her birthday.  It was lovely.  But, since...
