    education education education...
September 1st 2009 Slept a whole 10 hours last night which was just the very thing... This morning was sorting bits of papers and post for a while then looking at sons' courses. We'd given up on several courses for the summer just gone after my diagnosis - well, more 'drifted away from' them until it was too late to cram the work in. So I spent hours trying to fit those into what we'd thought of doing this year - and it wouldn't fit. I thought of 'encouraging' them towards a life of chimney sweeping...

    Dealing with my husbands cancer
Recently it was discovered that my husbands kidney cancer is also in his brain. This has had an affect on how he is dealing with his condition. He is extremely emotional crying a lot but also the disease is affecting his moods and can change from one minute to the next. This is very difficult and find myself getting impatient having to repeat myself over and over as his short term memory is also affected. I feel very guilty even although I am finding patience that I never thought I had. Does anyone...

Oncologist Update and session 5 (tax 2)
Hello all, Here is my regular 3 weekly update. I had my meeting with the oncologist last Friday to discuss the next stage of my treatment. Fact sheets included below if you are interested. I should be getting an invite to plan my Radiotherapy some time over the next 2 weeks. My understanding from others is that it involves being wrapped in cling film and getting tattoos....! well - whatever turns you on I guess! I also enquired about the radio treatment duration because I've heard you can...
