Hi everyone hope we are all having a good weekend, I haven't blogged for a few days it seems to have been really busy lately which is great (no time to think).

Thursday was the day for final preparations for the Pink Friday day at work, so off to the shops to get the final few bits to complete the whole look, this meant a trip to the nail bar to have my nails painted in the same colour as my new pink extensions (lol) I was wearing a t-shirt that my mum in law had made for me and this had the...

    now what

Family has all gone today back to their lives far away.  A friend will be with me later and until I am ready to be alone again.  It just gets harder every day as each da there is a little more time to think about everything that happened.  It has been such a horrible three months and it has only been three months!  I still can't take it all in.  He was so well in July, we had a lovely cruise around Britain and I am so glad we did do that.  Then from the beginning of August, doctors and hospitals and...

    Radio 5

    Hello all.

I've just had my 5th radio session.  I should have been on number 7 but the machine was broken for 2 days.  No obvious side effects so far (beyond a slight tenderness).

The one thing that has been a problem is that my legs or more accurately, my thighs stopped working properly a couple of weeks ago.  I found that I was suddenly struggling to walk up stairs because of the difficulty in my foot reaching each step – in fact walking in general is a bit of an issue.  I spoke to a doc...

    Home Sweet Home

Boom! Boom! Boom!  No, it's not a headache but the roofers...lol.  Sprung a leak in the front room after fixing the leaky roof three years ago...sigh...So, it's time to put a new one on in its entirety.  Maybe we can get the contractor to fix the frame on the kitchen door that was put in new last year...another sigh...lol.  No matter...we may have to move out of this lovely dwelling if we can't find a creative way of paying the mortgage once I am out on disability permanantly.  At one time...

    Taste changes

Its true what is said on here your taste doe's change. I am a cold drinker and because of the threat of my throat going into spasm, for 5 days at least I can't drink cold drinks then when I can they taste yuck. Apart from orange juice nothing tastes right. Although Last night I went out for dinner with my partner and I had a sip of his ice cold Guiness and it tasted lovely so he got me half which I enjoyed very much. My onc nurse said that I could drink alcohol but I might find that if I am...

  • Hi Mummy
    Thinking About You

    Hi Mummy

You have been on my mind for days now, I cant stop thinking about you. We are back up in Ipswich only this time its not for social reasons. We are here because Baz's Grandad passed away yesterday morning from cancer too. Like Grandma he was too frail to have any treatment so they just made him comfortable and he seemed happy remembering old times and living in the past.

I didnt go to see him when we were last week, I have had enough  of hospitals and hospices to last me a few years yet...
