    Mastectomy
Yesterday I was told I need a mastectomy and breast conserving surgery isn't an option. I feel really unprepared for this and inexplicably sad. Like everything else on this journey, does this sadness pass and be replaced by strength? Does anyone ...

    POCKETS OF SANITY

    The power of peer support

The power of peer support, written in white letters over a photograph of the sun shining two large hills.

    EARLY SIGNS
Could I have caught this earlier? I can’t help asking the question. Were there signs and symptoms that I missed? I’ve always trusted my body to know what it’s doing. I didn’t get freaked out by menopause. Changes are what we w...

Boyfriend has three months to live

It is inoperable and they said he has approximately 4 months...
