Hello All,
Our M has just been to visit me, we had the normal chit chats, what he’s doing at the moment, what’s gone on in the week, who’s done what, who’s said what and called the usual people etc, now of all my lads M being the eldest (29) understands more than most because he’s seen quite a lot of his fair share of life, some good and some bad but he’s just knocked me bloody sideways with one comment! Having phoned everyone the good news last Tuesday, to tell them that the cancer appeared to...
I've spent hours thinking about starting a blog & what I'd include, and now I've finally got one started my mind has gone blank!
I'll be back soon! - Maybe when tea doesnt need cooking, kids dont need running around & I have time to think!
I don't know how many of you will remember Shelley and Laurence from this site, but, for those of you who do I just wanted to let you know that Laurence sadly passed away yesterday from a throat infection.
He put up a very brave fight against this dreadful disease with his lovely wife Shelley and family with him every step of the way.
May he Rest In Peace xxx

While we were waiting for the nurses I had got upset with Paul and Ewa and went outside and cried my eyes out.Things had just got on top of me,not for the first time but I did eventually come back in but still quite upset.I was just angry, well more frustrated than angry with Paul and Ewa about Mo's future care.Trying to get paul to agree with getting Mo into 'respite care' had been a 'bone of contention'between us for a little while now.Unfortunately the tears returned, frustrated,I said to Paul"Its...
Chris the District Nurse came up and as soon as she went into the bedroom,Mo was still doing the growling and clawing, but she knew what was happening.PAIN?. It was an indication of pain Mo was in so much pain with 'whatever' and the growling and crawling was her way of telling us all that as she couldn't actually say it.Mo was showing us that she was 'crawling up the wall'with the pain and that was also why, when she was left alone Mo started trying to bite herself without actually biting herself...
