    Sun is shining!
Good Morning ! It is white outside-due to heavy frost- and the sun is shining. Its a beautiful day and I feel pretty good. However it would appear I have some kind of infection ( again) which is affecting my balance. Had BP checked, been to Dr phoned hospital and the BC nurse all are at a loss as to why this is happening. Not seemingly a side effect of chemo as I had thought. Feel like I have been drinking a few glasses of wine- wish I could say I felt this was good.My body is twitching away...

    we all need to laugh
There’s always one. This has got to be one of the funniest things in a long time. I think this guy should have been promoted, not fired. This is a true story from the Word Perfect Helpline, which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the customer care department. Needless to say the Help Desk employee was fired; however, he/she is currently suing the Word Perfect organization for ‘Termination without Cause’. Actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee. (Now I know why...

    HOLIDAY INSURANCE
Hello Does anybody out there know of any insurance company that will insure a terminally ill patient to go abroad that doesn't cost as much as the holiday itself. I would say that at the moment my husband is OK although the cancer is deemed to be terminal.

    Side Effects?
Hi has anyone else had these side effects from CMF. I have had 2 doses and am due to go back next week for my next cycle. Apart from feeling rough for 5 days afterwards I have felt really good until a couple of days go when I started to feel light headed, and loose my balance occasionally. On top I am getting a wee bit forgetful-my family tease me that it is my age! I have read on another site about this and wandered if anyone else has found this.Julesx

It’s the waiting that I cannot stand
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last Wednesday and although it was a huge shock three days later I find that I have come to terms with it and that I just want to get it dealt with. So, here I writing to help me vent my frustrations, I feel like a grumpy old woman! The mammogram and scan showed that not only was there a lump that is cancerous but there is a shadow which needs to be investigated. This calls for a ‘core biopsy’ which at the initial consultation it was suggested that this could...

    Stem Cell Harvest & Transplant
At my weekly clinic visit yesterday, my Key Nurse handed me a booklet highlighting the in's and out's of Stem Cell Harvest and Transplant. We have spoken about it before but that seemed so long ago it is in the dim and distant past. The Doctor is happy with my progress and wants to schedule a multi diciplianry care team meeting with me and my family and the team to discuss STH&T. I have to say there are a lot of questions that i would like answering first before I simply say yes to it. I am aware...
