Can't resist another quick little blog before I go away and I have to let you know about the entertainment I've arranged for you in my absence....
There are 2 Little My's in my head.. (what? only 2 you say? Well, only 2 that talk to me.. the others aren't on speaking terms with me...) they are the Devil and Angel ones shall we say....and they have both been out to play today. Devil usually isn't allowed out in public so apologies to the faint hearted at having to hear some of her...
9th August 2011 - today we go into hospital for the first day of a five day treatment of ESHAP chemo. I will let you know how it goes. A stem cell donor is still being searched for my husband.....
Sorry, but I have bottled this up for long enough now - my tongue is still very sore after almost three years post-radiotherapy and I am beginning to become despondent about the whole thing. I understand that it can take a long time to heal, but all the info on the subject reckons it usually takes about six weeks to recover.......no mention of years !
I have tried just about everything to try and encourage the healing process, but to no avail. Maybe this is something I have to learn to live with ...

Lets start wiv the good stuff. The Barts thing is looking hopeful, they want mor info abowt me, so fingas crossed it will work owt an they will lov me and they will want to tayk me ther and giv me gamma gamma treetment.
On to ova news... I desided to hav chemo, my onc finks it has a gud chance of working. He is using a diff combo of drugs, carmustine and procarbazine. So carmustine on day 1 thru an IV and the procarb is tablets wich i tayk on day 1 - 14 and then i get a lital rest for a few days...
Thought I had better update you all,......................... been so wrapped up with unsuccessful curtain making and catching up on others blogs I had forgotten to let you know about the outcome of Daves appointment.
As you know his ultra sound showed no cancer YEAH!! So we went back to see consultant on Tuesday 2nd Aug to find out what else was found, if anything. It turns out that he has three stitches left inside his neck.....they have been zapped by the RT so have not dissolved..........could...
tonight I have been crying for the last 2 hours and can't stop. I'll never hear her voice again or hold her hand, smell her or feel her warmth.
tonight I feel lower than I thought possible
