    Next go-round
Monday starts new chemo, carbo and alimpta. I was getting carbo/tax/avista, which was a trial and now I am out of the trial. The alimpta (usually for mesothelioma) is because we can't get rid of the fluid in my lungs. We shall see. I have been tapped about 14 or 15 times so far. About every one and a half weeks. I really can't do very much and haven't been able to do very much for quite awhile now. I walk 30' and I am so winded I have to sit and catch my breath before I can continue, otherwise...

One step forward and three backwards.
Firstly I would just like to take the time to thank all you kind people who answered my blog. There are so many kind people out there. We have had wonderful news that my husband Bob's scan results came back clear he was so frightened and all of us, his family, were also. It was great news after all the worrying again and wanting to scream and scream. Anyway we all felt on top of the world for a day and now, bang, he has become so unwell just 24hrs later and has been admitted to hospital and they...

    Hello
Hello, I am new to this site. My name is Fiona and my husband Paul has just been diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in his throat. He has just come out of hospital after starting DAP chemotherapy and had a hickman line inserted. I would love to hear from anyone with experience of DAP chemo and chat to anyone in a similar situation to myself. Paul was first diagnosed and treated 10 years ago, so this time I am a bit wiser and aware of what to expect. Look forward to hearing from you all...

Looks like Seán will not be back on here, despite the clearly expressed majority view. Can't see any point in sticking around myself.

Do hope he is ok to go, he has been so tierd after his last chemo has spent lots of time in bed its 11.50am now and hes up there fast asleep. I think the chemo has effected him more this time, far more tierd than past ones.

    Where to begin?
Hi There is not much information out there for a tumour attached to the corited artery. How do I know who is the best to deal with this. My GP sent me to a ENT consultant but who is to say he is the best. He was very blase at the only meeting to discuss what he had found. I have 1 million questions and have had to ask him to see me again. Should I just keep the faith? My faimly and I are demented. It is the not knowing. Any advice out there? Chris

    Rollercoaster
I've just joined the carers group. Its amazing how many of us are out there !!! My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread to his spine last september . it has been a roller coaster of a ride since then. He has had radiotherapy to the top of his spine to put a halt to the damage the cancer has done up there. He had chemo for the large tumour plus all the other spots he has and in march he had another lot of RT to his chest and back . That was particulary difficult as it has caused...
