wittering away

1 minute read time.

A lovely trip to the beach yesterday, favourite parking spot right close to my favourite bench, front row view. Plenty to see, wild life, people and happy dogs.

Went to supermarket afterwards, I don't usually go in but there were bits and bobs that I wanted to see and compare so braved it. We had a plan and it went well.Came home with bits and bobs and back to bed, feeling good. Rested well in the afternoon, Dana and I were messaging over the day. My pain was well managed. I can't eat much but it is increasing so went to bed thinking I was in a good place and set for today.

So woke up due to a need to pee, sat up slowly and my back was agony. It was a fright but quickly established that while it hurt to breathe, it was my back hurting not my lungs. I made it to the loo, doubled up, not totally in time but mostly. Pain meds have toned it down so I can identify where the pain is coming from, my spine and radiating to muscles which are going into spasm. It just feels like I am going through a whack-a-mole period. At this rate by the time I get to speak to the GP I will have a scroll to go through.

Today most of my big missions were on the phone or email so those are still achievable. It's painful to mobilise but I am not doubled up and moving even a little ways is helpful. I'm waiting for my legs to be generally less wobbly to see what I can do.

It's passed 6am now. I am highly medicated up and can get into a fairly comfy position sitting so this is progress from 1am.

I hope you have a good day for you.
