Yesterday I completed my first race for life and raised £300 for CRUK. I would just like to say thank you to everyone who sent me messages of support and/or sponsored me. It means a lot to Sean and I to know we have so many well-wishers on this site.
This year I will be taking part in the Derby Race for Life 5K event on May 2009 in Darley Park, Derby. This is my first proper run and although I've been training for a while I'm nervous to say the least!
The money I raise will go towards cancer research (yes, that's scientific research) generally, but many of you will know that I will be running in honour of my husband Sean who has malignant melanoma.
