    Not so chuffed today.....

When will I learn, thought I was being really clever yesterday with my 'I'm fine theres nothing wrong with me' head on and I felt fine and thought I could conquer the world.

Found out a I was driving home that maybe just maybe I was not a fine a I would like to think. On the A12 no bother, then onto the M11 and the scar sight starts to groan a little now and then, by the time  hit the M25 it was burning and I was starting to feel sick and sweaty, rolled the window down which resulted...

    hey all

well mum got a phonecall from the hospital today which was going to arrange a pet scan for her after the news the other day, and to let her know what treatment the docs were planning for her now after their meeting today.

however.....mum came off the phone and burst into tears saying "they think i might not need anymore chemo".. turns out they THINK the area they are seeing on her recent scan is scar tissue and not active lymphoma, most of the consultants had agreed. so they are putting...

A Message To My mum And The Family I Love!

    Hi, I'm Alice.

I'm Gail's pride and joy! I love my mum so much! Our saying was always:

"I love you more than science can prove!" and then we would laugh, kiss and hug. These days I miss the most. I am only 12 and 13 In 2 months. Me and my dad and my brother are sticking together through this the best that we can. I love my dad and mum. I am always known to look so much like my mum and that I have lovely hair.

Knowing that any day know I will be losing the most important thing...

    Melanoma developing

Its been a while since posting a blog. I went thro a stage of not wanting to think about doctors, hospitals and the C word anymore!  Since August 09 we had a wonderful summer holiday. However it made me aware how I have slowed down and was unable to go out every day with my family to the parks due to exhaustion and shoulder pain.  This stiffness has developed since a lump broke through in my left armpit and it is now very swollen.  I cannot lift my arm above my head or behind and feel quite disabled...

My baby's journey to survive a brain tumour

My husband has been writing a blog since Camille's first diagnosis back in June.  If you would like to read all his blogs back, please refer to www.burnserelli.com.

I will start to cut and paste his future blogs on here for reference.

Background information:  My beautiful 2 year old daughter Camille was diagnosed with a large inoperable Grade II Ependymoma brain tumour, growing within her cerebellum, 4th ventricle and brain stem.  She is undergoing a 12 month course of high dose 'baby brain'...

    Things like to get complicated

Since my last hospital visit, when they told me the chemo hadn't worked, I've been very down, and finding it hard to cope.

Things have come to a head now, and my fiance is moving out tonight.

He's more interested in smoking weed, and staying over at his friends house, than me.

We've been through all this before, talked about it etc, and nothing changes.

I need support. I need someone who will be there for me, not ignore me.

I understand he's finding me being ill hard, but he...
