Its been a while.....

1 minute read time.

I havent been on very much lately but I have been thinking of you all and I hope everyone is well and doing ok.  I havent got much to report really things have been going ok.  I have treatment again today which is my 4th cycle of Herceptin this time around.  I have a MUGA scan booked for Thursday and a CT for Monday. I am a bit nervous about the CT but I suppose this is going to be the norm from now on but that said I am hopeful everything will be ok.  I suppose its just its the first one and I dont want anything to have changed...unless its a good change :-)

I have been doing lots of classes at the gym and my slimming world diet is going very well I have lost 5 1/2 lbs now. I read somewhere that a small lifestyle change can help improve your prognosis, as well as help with sleeping and mood etc. Well I must say I feel so much more in control, like I am really doing something to help myself.

Like I said nothing very exciting to talk about but I thought it was about time to blog again.

Love to all

Oh Chrissie, I've been wondering where you have been, how lovely to hear from you.

Well done on the weight loss, you might inspire me (next week LOL) to finally start mine, I did want to wait until after the chemo and then its my main priority!

Glad you feel more in control and hope the treatment is tolerable.

Gosh Chrissi, I've been wondering where you were. Pleased to hear that the treatment is going well. I lost a lot of weight during the year before my surgery and to be honest I'm enjoying just eating what I want at the moment, so any further weight loss is going to have to wait. Just can't give up my mid morning coffee with something delicious!

Take care and blog again soon

Thanks guys!! Debs..the treatment is easy peasy really. Dont really know I have had it, it can affect your heart but they monitor that. Angela..I ballooned on chemo a couple of years ago and lately I have been comfort eating and piled on the pounds so I thought enough is enough. I have been treating myself still but just trying to eat more healthily in general. Thanks Leigh it does feel like a bit much at times but I need to be busy, its how I do. lol. I never sit still, have ants in my pants!! Lovely to hear back from you all xxx
