Day 34 Bertiebassetts Return Journey

Less than one minute read time.

My life at the moment feels like the film Groundhog Day, you know the one where yeo get up every morning and the same thing is happening all over again the only difference is its a year later. I was going over some of my blogs from last year and I am repeating myself.

Bert is feeling well at last his IV  antibiotic has been stopped and we are waiting ( there's that word again) to see if his temp stays down.

Me on the other hand I have a kidney infection and Renal calculi. so lets hope the stones don't decide that tis is the time to move cos I don't have the time to be ill.

Going to speak to Bert's consultant tomorrow to try and find out the next stage of the treatment plan,

Take Care

Love Teri

    Thanks Jools and Sarsfield

I am dreading this meeting but I have all my questions written down sa am prepare for what I need to ask. Don't know if I am prepared for the answers though. It will be hard as Bert does not want to know very much he only wants to know when his transplant is going to be I have not to tell him any bad news.

The other problem that I was trying to explain (his memory is so bad this time) is that they wast to remove his toenail and can't until his platelets and counts go up but until that happens he won't get his transplant as they won't give it while he has any infection.

    Will keep you posted tonight
