Hi
Have now had three FEC 100 and due in three weeks to start three cycles of docetaxel. Has anyone had this chemo and what type of side effects did you have? I know everyone is different and I've been quite well with the FEC about two days feeling rubbish followed by 2 weeks of feeling well. Just a bit anxious now about this next lot of chemo, as its the unknown that worries me.
Any advice would be most welcome, thank you xx

Sal should be ready to come out of hospital soon so in preparation I am spending today deep cleaning the house. Every surface and everything on every surface will be vacuumed and wiped down with antiseptic wipes. Floor vacuumed, door handles antiseptic wiped.

My particular ailment is a squamous cell carcinoma of the right tonsil.
Over the next few days I will blog my escapades that have got me to the start of my radiotherapy...
Sal is becoming Sal again!
The great news is that her blood count of sample taken night before last are neutrophils 3 and white 5. These are normal figures so she is back to fighting strength... well, on the way, and she has an immune system again!
The cannula failed in her R hand but her bloods were so good that they removed the cannula and she has now been switched to oral Amoxicillin. So not more IV. She still has the the anti-sick meds of the subcutaneous injection of and oral Ondansetron but...
