2 minute read time.

Clock watching until 3am since 2.10am  then I can take metacloperide and codeine got 10 mins. I have slept well just in batches and awake in  the early hours.

Been browsing t shirts and bras. That's got through to three, relief is on the way.

I have gained weight, this for me is a good thing. I am at a weight that I haven't been since long covid ( 3 and half years ago) so my size 6 clothes don't fit, size 8 is fine but a size 10 in T shirts wouldn't go astray. A bra and a couple of bra tops would be good. My best friend Jeff has suggested a wonder bra and my daughter Dana is also all for it. I would rarely wear it but I know  it would be fun as I did have one for occasional use years ago.

I had to put my foot down on the suggestion of  a corset on the grounds of being able to breathe freely though.

The only trouble is, I am so unused to having a cleavage, when it is all pushed up, I keep going  quite cross-eyed admiring it and hoping that my inner monologue of 'oo good cleavage'  isn't going to pop out loud in a public place! Or one of those embarrassing A and E visits, how did you knock yourself out, well, there was this lamp post and I walked into it , cross eyed, while admiring my own knockers.

Jeff is taking me to stay with the family for a few days when I am up enough to make a trip. On the way we have planned a 'hot date' to a big shopping centre. Boots for flu jabs and M +S for bras, looking forward to the latter. How many bras depends  on  car MOT the week beforehand, it is a shared expense, always better looking at it  with one eye but it is a good but older car, meets our needs and worth keeping on the road.  We have a good garage

I am going to try and make an outrageous claim that Jeff should chip in  for a wonder bra, after all without him it wouldn't be possible.

He does all my cooking, all my share of the house work , drives me everywhere, picks up the crates of my Fresubin. I just have to message for a coffee, a drink, snacks, food if it's too much or a stretch and he is on it. He makes me a flask of coffee every night and leaves it  outside my room, so if and when I can have one it's there.  First coffee of the morning is a precious one for me, what makes that more so, is that I feel so loved.  Anyway lets not let that  get in the way of the outrageous claim. He gets the calories in and saves me expending loads in steps of struggle. Not only that for doing all this and housing sharing with me means , a big drum roll here,  he gets a free flu jab this year, a saving.

I hope for anyone who is reading this that you have a good  day for you.
