newest pics 29 aug 2010 - back to work a month now... i have to be honest that it hasnt got any better for this and i am now worried i need to take more time off. dressing are now.. 50/50 moisturiser whole leg - jelonet the wound then aquacell (not ag) then gauze then surgipad then lymphoedema stocking...daily painkill...ers are now 3 x 50mg dicolofec 25mg amitriptalyine and up to 4x2 co-codomel as and when i need them but having to take fybogel on those days as codeine bungs me up....
Found out this morning that Patrick's cancer had spread to 2 of the lymph glands that were removed at the same time as his bladder. Not great news but we don't have much detail yet - this news came in a letter! Nice!! Hopefully he'll be able to talk to someone in more detail after the bank holiday. Until then we're in the dark!
hi has anyone had symptoms after cone biopsyy?
ive had 3 periods since, and the last 2 have been awful, at times excruciating!
only when im on period it seems to make everything else inside tender and cause probs like its tender inside when i wee, wind suddenly becomes a big problem, thats the excuciatingly painful bit! like someones stabbed me, and it feels heavy right by pubic bone.
spoke to mac millan nurse yesterday and she said it sounded like by bodys finding it hard to let period go and...

I woke up at stupid time again this morning , panicking as had so much to do , silly as i had all day, but no its all done, except got to bake the cookies i said i woudnt make !! and got lots of cakes to ice but my best friend is going to do that while i play with neve ,i get all the hard jobs :) and i have now listened to tam (tj1 ) who has told me to chill ,think yourself lucky i dont normally take advice ,

My Dad went into hospital Thursday morning for his third lot of chemo, which has ended up with him getting his first two chemo drugs in a drip and the other in tablet form due to my Dad taking a reaction to it. This has allowed my Dad to come home and take the rest of his chemo at home, so he now just has to go to hospital as a day patient. Im a bit confused about all this as Im not sure does the treatment work the same is it as effective as the drip? My Dad quite happy he is home Mum a bit upset...
My friends Dad passed away this morning in a hospice of bowel cancer. I hope i am saying the right things, i think she is expecting me to say it get easier but for me so far it hasn't.....it has only gotten harder.

some of you read my original post about receiving a 40 p cheque from income support, well today i got another letter advising me that i will receive 10p a week income support paid every 4 weeks paid by cheque!!! im saving this up now for xmas and would like some ideas about what i could do with it!!! lol

Today I went to see my plastic surgeon this morning....all is healing well and will see me again in 3 weeks.......so, if this is all healing well, why did I feel sad, depressed, tired, fed up, crap etc......I have 3 consutlants clambouring for my attention, under normal circumstances I would be flattered, but I'm not (obviously)..This could also be that I have to go to my uncle Billy's funeral on the 31st, why is it you need the ones that are no longer here?? Gotta go before I start making...
