    Hi Sue

just to say glad you've kept your sense of humour - this post did make me laugh!

But what do with the money hmmm.....will have to get back to you on that one as it requires much serious deliberation......the possibilities are endless!

    Hi Ya Sue,

Well you could put down a deposit on a new House and a Car, book a weeks holiday in Las Vegas.Or you could open a Savings account at your Nearest Bank. By the time you have reached your 100th

Birthday you then could nip out and buy a loaf of Bread. What do you think??????.

Take care and be safe Big Hugs Love Sarsfield.xxx

Hi Sue - yes the system seems mad !! - but being serious ( for a change !! ) you may find now you are getting ANY income support you are entiteld to help with Council tax ?

'If you're entitled to Income Support, income-based Jobseeker's Allowance or the 'guarantee credit' of Pension Credit you could get maximum help with your Council Tax.'

    Good luck mate

I was going to say that same thing as John. I know the 40p a month won't get you much (ok it won't get you anything at all lol), but since you are now receiving Income Support you should get help with rent and Council Tax, free prescriptions etc.

I don't actually find your blog funny at all - in fact it infuriates me - you need all the help you can get right now without being subject to such ridiculous beurocrisy!  Maybe you could save all the cqs up and send them back as a gift for the dwp's christmas party.  Hope you win the lottery - make sure you buy one each week, I wish you all the luck in the world.  Ann x
