My Dad went into hospital Thursday morning for his third lot of chemo, which has ended up with him getting his first two chemo drugs in a drip and the other in tablet form due to my Dad taking a reaction to it. This has allowed my Dad to come home and take the rest of his chemo at home, so he now just has to go to hospital as a day patient. Im a bit confused about all this as Im not sure does the treatment work the same is it as effective as the drip? My Dad quite happy he is home Mum a bit upset as he is a wee monkey for taking his medication at home and you have to keep at him to take it so you feel you are moaning at him all the time. I love him so much don't want anything going wrong.
