My mum's condition has deteriorated rapidly over the past few days. Yesterday, the doctors at the hospice told us that the end was near for my mum and that she had a few days to live. I don't know how it happened and it's almost as if something happened overnight Sunday to push her into the final stage.
Today she arrived home. We have a special hospital bed in the dining room and we are sitting with her. My sister and I had a talk with her and we said what we wanted to say. Her pupils...

im in such a positive mood today. hoping i can rub it off to my friends and family.
lil man went back to school yesterday and he loved. He is still on his chemo and is doing extremely well with this block.
He is so amazing. To look at him you would think he is a normal 8 year old. But if you pay attention to detail you can tell he is not well.
The doctors are amazed with how well he is doing they have increased his time scale to 12-16 months now. So thats something good at least.
Mum is doing well considering what she has been through and going through. She went for a scan a week ago and we have heard nothing since then, and as we were told she had 3/6 weeks to live and 4 of these weeks have gone by, surely they would let us know asap what is going on. If anything with home care Mum seems a lot better she has put on weight and is managing to walk a little, the nurse comes in every day, but is she really as sick as they say, she seems to think she is okay, can anyone please...

Yesterday our younger daughter, Claire, and a five of her friends cycled twenty-five mile on a sponsored ride for the June Hancock Mesothelioma trust.
They have raised over two thousand pounds, and the money is still coming in. A fantastic effort from six ladies who normally get together to eat and drink and relax. Not to be left out nine of their children, ages ranging from five to eleven joined them for stages of the ride. They were supported every step of the way (should that be every turn of...
