hi everyone
i haver been back at work 6-7 weeks now... the wound is healing so slow i can barely see any improvement but i guess it will take time for the last 15% to heal up. did anyone else find healing this long? original operation 1st week april.
now the wound is healing the pain of the lymphoedema is here. i am on 3 x 50mg diclofenic a day... 25mg amitriptalyine every night and up to 4 x 2 co -codomol a day of which on average i am taking 3 x 2 a day and sometimes the full 4 x 2. not sure that this cocktail of painkillers is working. what is everyone else taking? or maybe i should just grin and bare it and let it go away on its own accord but when youre working its hard to grin and bare!! is there anyone like me with a very sedatary job... i am a dispensing optician standing a lot and sitting a lot...walk to or from work and a very minimum amount of walking during the day... anyone else have this kind of work schedule? how do you cope with pain of the wound or lymphoedema...
thanks
peter
