Have been told mum has 3-6 weeks to live they have moved her to a hospital nearer to home and then a jr doctor says it maybe fungal lung infection and things may not be as bad as they thought. This is my first experience of cancer in the family and boy I wished it had not of arrived, start to finish 6 months and no one told us this would be the lightly outcome and now Mum has 3-6 weeks to live and the cancer has spread to her lungs. We are in the process of trying to get her home to die in peace in her own bed, and I am trying to be strong for her and my Dad.

Doctors dont seem to know what is wrong with her they have done so many tests she has swollen up arms legs knees hands, feet, she is having trouble breathing and talking about death and she wont eat. What can it be and what can I do please help
Its been over six weeks now since Mum had her operation and she is still in hospital. What I want to know is shouldnt she of started RT or chemo by now before the cancer starts to grow again. Please let me know your thoughts on this.
